The best word to describe the upcoming Steinert Girls Varsity Lacrosse season is exciting! There are a number of things to look forward to during the 2023-2024 season including the players, coaches, and the highly competitive schedule this team will face. This year, the team’s foundation is rock solid. Returning players that have built a strong team chemistry through years of playing with each other. Along with the returners, there is a group of experienced newcomers, who have found their place on the team. This combination of girls makes the team look the best it has in the past few years. These girls will definitely pursue their goals this season with grit and determination!
The girls look forward to having an audience at their games. They open their season on April 2, against Monroe Township, away. The next day is an extremely important game to their girls, where they take on their rivals, Hamilton West, at home. Every year, the energy at this game is high, and the girls thrive off of it. Other games on their schedule consist of Stuart Country Day school at home on April 8th, Ewing at home on April 10, Nottingham on April 19th at home, and also West Windsor Plainsboro North on April 20th. *As of May 20th, the girls lacrosse team is 12-5. The girls ended their regular season with a win against rival Hamilton West, 9-7.
