Scheduling teacher duty assignments is a challenging effort. One must take into account many variables that limit the pool of teachers to choose from for each period. However, if one works collaboratively and established an organized plan, he or she can ensure teachers are placed in the correct locations to ensure student and school safety. The following document is the end result of the process and is provided to teachers via Google Docs to be accessed at anytime they need.

Created a climate and culture survey related to the scheduling of duties as a formative and summative assessment, It was used to improve the rotation of duties and to lessen the workload for each duty.

After conducting Extended School Year student volunteer interviews a group of three administrators sat down and organized students into a schedule trying to meet each of their individual needs. Collaboration is extremely important. Without the group effort the work would have taken closer to six hours. Our group finished in two and a half. Names have been omitted for privacy.
