Let's make February
This month, we organized the Triangle School first annual school wide Day of Service event to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Throughout the day, we had various activities planned that showed the students the importance of kindness, respect, and equality for all. Students worked together to weave a blanket to give to children in hospitals, created and decorated cards to thank our police, fire, and EMS workers, and cut out and decorated hands that will create a giant school wide heart on the wall in our school. Our school community also collected non-perishable items for those in need and collected money to be donated to Gigi's Playhouse here in town. We wrapped up the day with an assembly, where our student speakers did a fantastic job addressing the whole school. We are so proud of our Triangle community!!
Triangle School...it's grrrrreat!
Students worked so hard to create cards, decorate hand prints, and weave our blankets to donate to the children's hospital. Great work, everyone!!
