Hawaii Society for Technology in Education

The Making IT Happen award honors outstanding educators and leaders who demonstrate extraordinary commitment, leadership, courage and persistence in improving digital learning opportunities for students. Since its inception in 1995 more than 600 educators from around the world have received the award.

The spirit of the Making IT Happen award supports our vision of a world in which all learners thrive, achieve and contribute.

Welcomes our SY 24-25 Board of Directors, poised to guide our organization towards greater impact in our mission to leverage technology in education for Hawaii.. The Schools of the Future Conference explores a wide-range of topics and ideas related to best and emerging practices in education.

The annual SOTF Conference is the largest event of its nature in Hawai'i and serves as an opportunity for teachers and administrators, across Hawaii’s public, private and charter schools, to reflect upon how to better serve children.
