HSUHK A Cappella Group
HSUHK A Cappella Group is a newly established Cultural Group in 2017/18, aiming to gather the singing talents in the College.
Members are selected from auditions conducted by Ms YUEN Wai Ling, Viola, Conductor of the HSUHK student orchestra - HSUHK Sinfonietta, who is also an experienced A Cappella singer and teacher. Under Ms Yuen's dynamic and professional training, members are equipped with the skills on vocal singing and teamwork.
On performances, members of the A Cappella are invited to give individual performance in College events. Ruby NG, student of the BA-ENG programme, performed at the HSUHK Chinese New Year Staff Party and the HSUHK Founders' Day. Her performance received positive feedback from staff and audience. It is believed that the team will soon be able to perform A Cappella singing in College events.
