Sophomore year:
Perfect your reading comprehension, time management, and study skills
Start thinking about what you like to do that could turn into a career
Get involved in LHS clubs and teams
Record your community service hours including the date of service, hours worked, organization and a brief description of the service you provided
Continue to focus on a strong GPA or work to improve your GPA

Make sure you are on track to make the 4 year college admissions criteria and course work required by the Oregon State System of Higher Education. A C-minus or better in:
English/Language Arts: 4 years
Mathematics: 3 years (OR requirement) - 4 years (required by some universities)
Science: 3 years
Social Science: 3 years
Second Language: 2 years (of the same language)
