Sign up for LHS College Visits to meet with the representatives from Colleges you might be interested in attending
Consider different college options and select a college which is best fitted to you based on: field of study available, location, cost and activities
Apply to colleges in the fall/early winter
Apply for scholarships starting late august
Fill out FAFSA or ORSAA form
Explore the branches and decide which may be the best fit for you
Talk to a recruiter to determine if you qualify
Take the ASVAB test
Work with a recruiter to enlist in the branch you are interested in
Consider a trade skill like Electrician, Plumber, or Beautician
Have your Resume ready
Explore companies where you might want to work
Create a cover letter
Identify people you can use as references on job applications and obtain their contact information
Practice interviewing skills
