What is it?
The purpose of the ASVAB is to help students identify their strengths and weaknesses in areas like math, science, reading and writing, problem-solving, and technology, enabling them to explore potential career paths and job opportunities.
Should I take it?
The ASVAB provides valuable insights into your skills and aptitudes across various subjects, helping you understand your strengths and areas for improvement. This can guide you in choosing suitable career paths, whether in the military or civilian sectors, and make informed decisions about you future education and job opportunities. Additionally, it can open doors to scholarships, training programs, and other resources to support their career goals.
Where and When can I take it?
Every year, Liberty High School and the Hillsboro School District organize a day for students who want to take the ASVAB. The exact date will be announced by the end of November, so be sure to watch the announcements to find out when and where it will be held this year.
