THINGS TO DO FRESHMAN YEAR

Being involved in your community directly impacts eligibility for competitive colleges, scholarships and even jobs. Check out the "Jobs, Internships, and Volunteering" tab for job and volunteer opportunities. 

Freshman year: 

• Choose classes that interest and challenge you

• Get involved in sports and clubs and activities at LHS

• Record your community service hours including the date of service, hours worked, organization and a brief description of the service you provided

• Do the best you can in your classes, cultivate good study habits, and establish a strong GPA
