Hennessey Elementary Library

Welcome to our new website! Here you can access all of the latest news and happenings for our library. The homepage will feature current events happening in our library for students, teachers & parents.

  • DONORS CHOOSE: The library currently has a donor's choose project in progress. We are looking for funding to add a comfortable seating area for our students to sit and read while enjoying the library. If you'd like to donate, please follow the link HERE.
  • RAFFLE ITEMS NEEDED: Our 3rd-5th grade students will be enjoying a points club raffle at the end of the year for all of their hard work. If you have an item you'd like to donate, we are collecting items of all monetary value!
  • Have you setup your child's AR Home Connect yet?! It's the EASIEST way to keep track of what your child is reading & monitor their progress towards goals! You can automatically receive emails each time your child takes an AR test! Stop by the library for help setting this up or click this link to enroll using your students user name & password.
  • Point clubs & rewards have changed this year! More details on the parents page!

Mrs. Ladwig's Sequoyah Progress!

Each year 3rd-5th is challenged to read a minimum of 3 Sequoyah books to be able to come and enjoy our Sequoyah party in the Fall. In hopes to encourage students to go above & beyond, we have a challenge to see how many students can read as many (or more) Sequoyah books as Mrs. Ladwig. Students that complete the challenge will receive an extra reward at the party.
