I have a Master of Arts in Teaching from SUNY New Paltz, a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College, and an Associate of Science degree from Dutchess Community College. I previously substitute taught in Hyde Park Central School District and completed my student teaching at FDR as well.

Before earning my teaching degree I spent more than three years as a legal news journalist in New York City and before that worked at a television news station in Albany.

A few things I can talk about for hours: Dogs, baseball, soccer, Parks and Recreation, history, food, travel, and current events.
