FDR’s BRYT program is a short-term program that provides clinical support, academic coordination, family support, and care coordination services to students who are gradually reintegrating into a full schedule following a mental health crisis.
What services will the BRYT program provide?

➳ Connection to community agencies
What is the referral criteria & process?
➳ Student attends FDR High School in Hyde Park Central School District
➳ Discharge from a higher level of care, such as inpatient hospitalization or partial hospitalization OR Having an extended absence from school due to a mental health crisis
➳ Student can be successful with a short-term re-entry program
What does the process look like?
➳ Entry Meeting
➳ Progress Meeting & Follow up Family Meetings
➳ Weekly updates via phone/email
➳ Exit Meeting
For parents/guardians:
➳ Contact the student’s School Counselor at (845) 229-4020 x6860 to let them know of your interest in the BRYT program for your child. They will review eligibility guidelines with you and make a referral for the program, if deemed appropriate.

About the BRYT Team:
BRYT Clinical Coordinator - Hadas Liebermann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the field of Social Work. She graduated with her Masters of Social Work from New York University and has worked with various populations throughout NYC and the Hudson Valley. Hadas has been with the Hyde Park Central School District since 2019 and has thoroughly enjoyed working with adolescents, young adults and their families in the BRYT program.
BRYT Academic Coordinator - Julie Fiero is a Behavioral Teaching Assistant with over 30 years of experience. She attended Brooklyn College and went on to work in independent schools in NYC. She has worked with elementary, middle and high school students, including the former Social Emotional Learning Program. Julie has been with the Hyde Park Central School District since 2004 and loves working with high school students in the BRYT program.
