District Orchestra

The Hyde Park Orchestral program is happy to offer the District Orchestra program to your child. Every year, students benefit greatly from their participation in this orchestral ensemble in the Hyde Park School District. This orchestra is comprised of fifth grade instrumental string students from Netherwood, North Park, Ralph R. Smith, and Violet Avenue Elementary School.

It is a great opportunity for the students to meet, practice, and perform with other fifth grade students from schools in the district. They will develop friendships that continue in sixth grade at Haviland Middle School. The District Orchestra provides your child with a new exciting educational experience.

• District Orchestra Begins on November 14, 2019 and will end on May 1, 2020
• District Orchestra will rehearse every Thursday morning before school
• There will be NO rehearsal if there is a snow day or a delay
• Rehearsal time is limited and regular attendance is a must
