Sixth Grade at Haviland Middle School
Mrs. Armstrong and Mrs. Daniels
Dear Parents and Guardians:
As you probably have realized, our students were the first in our building to receive their Chromebooks. This made for quite an exciting morning, as you can imagine! Your child should now have his/her own Chromebook with a case and a power cable. Each Chromebook is labelled with the student’s name and today they also made name tags for their cases.
Some helpful reminders:
- Chromebooks should always be kept in their cases
- Chromebooks need to be plugged in each night
- Chromebooks must be with students each day in school
- Students must lock their lockers to keep the Chromebooks safe
We will continue to remind students about these responsibilities and encourage you to help them as they learn to be good digital citizens. As we begin using the Chromebooks, students will find that having their own set of earbuds will be very useful. We have an extremely limited supply at the school.
Thank you so much for all of your support. This letter, as well as a list of homework for each night, can be found on our new CIA website. This can be found on the hpcsd.org site and will be updated regularly with helpful information for our team!
