Breanne Bishop - Director A local to Kalamazoo and a graduate of Western Michigan University, Breanne has a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy. Voice is her primary instrument with a secondary focus on piano and guitar. Having grown up very involved in musical theatre, she has performed in over 20 shows with companies such as Farmers Alley Theatre, Homeschool Performing Arts, Kindleberger Park, and Center Stage. She has also performed with WMU's University Chorale and Cantus Femina where she had the opportunity to tour in the Baltic States and Chicago. She looks forward to directing The Story again this year!
Joel Synder - Music Director is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Branch United Youth Choir in Coldwater, MI and the Celebris Ensemble in Kalamazoo, MI. He graduated with a B.Mus. in Church Music from Bob Jones University, a M.M. in Voice Performance is from Eastern Michigan University, as well as a M.M. in Choral Conducting from Western Michigan University. He is trained in Kodaly Method and an advocate for stronger music education. He has had the privilege to bring music education and performances to different parts of Michigan and around the world. He has performed in Ireland, Thailand, Canada, and Italy as well as many places in the U.S.
Jessica Bradt - Creative Arts Director was born in California and raised in Michigan. She began pursuing the arts at a young age and has since been involved (whether performing, directing, choreographing, dancing, etc.) in over 40 productions. Jessica has been trained in voice, acting and dance. Currently, she works as the Grand Rapids and Lansing choreographer for Homeschool Performing Arts, along with directing their program for 8-12-year-old students. She is an artistic coach for a new ministry called Unmuted which proclaims scripture dramatically. She also works with various high schools and theatres throughout West Michigan as a choreographer and dance teacher. Jessica was the former co-artistic director and choreographer for For His Glory Ballet in Allendale which she helped start in 2008. She is married to her wonderful husband Adam whom she met while playing the role of Peter Pan, and him performing as Captain Hook.
Beverly Bishop - Executive Producer is on the board of Vessel for Arts, has been involved with Homeschool Performing Arts since 2004, and is currently the Executive Director of Unmuted Arts. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from St. Cloud State University and has taught adult, college, high school, and middle school. She also has a published book named My Friend with Autism. Beverly grew up performing in community theater with her family and toured with EPIC ministries presenting the Gospel in Mime during her college years.
