Fulfills MMC graduation requirement toward 1.0 credit in Visual, Performing, or Applied Arts. This advanced class will explore and promote all levels of
Howell Public Schools through social media, including web based and mobile technologies (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Students will use 21st century skills, critical thinking, ethical decisions, and collaboration to understand how social media is changing the way we define a community. As citizen journalists, students will use social media tools to connect Howell Public Schools events and information to their audience in new and exciting ways. Selection of participating students in this class will be through an application and interview process.
