POPULAR LITERATURE
Popular Literature focuses on literature that students choose to read. This course is a student centered course that uses the literature circle model to provide students not only with choices in what they read, but choices in how they respond to the reading and how they demonstrate their learning. The course will begin with a whole group study of a short piece of fiction and will quickly evolve into small group exploration of different novels chosen by the student. This class is for EVERYONE!
