Prerequisite: 1 year of English credit (similar to science general electives) Creative Writing is wholly focused on imagination in writing.

Designed for students who love to write, the course includes short story, and drama writing. Creative Writing breaks down the semester into units on figurative language, setting, characterization, and plot. Students will be exposed to fiction, non-fiction, sit-coms, mystery, and elements of file. A wide range of creative activities are incorporated, and participation in small group critique sessions is essential.
