Club Description:
Mission: To educate BHS students interested in healthcare sciences, by connecting them with experts, materials, and specialized forums in Medicine and related fields as well as inspire early involvement in these fields through outside opportunities and activities.
We frequently bring medical practitioners to BHS, to discuss the specifics of their job and answer related questions. Past speakers include:Â
Dr. Peter Hotez (Department of Virology and Microbiology, Pediatrics at TCM & Baylor College of Medicine), Dr. Asim Shah (Department of Psychology at Ben Taub & Baylor College of Medicine), Dr. Rivera (Texas Children's Cardiology) Dr. Aagard (Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Baylor College of Medicine), accomplished radiologists, and biomedical researchers.
