✅ Summer Service Requirement (30 / 60 Hours)

Students may choose one of the following options:

• Full Summer (June & July)

  • Complete 60 total service hours by the end of July.

  • At least 30 hours must be completed by June 30 to remain active.

• Half Session – Summer 1 or Summer 2 Only

  • Complete 30 service hours in either June or July.

  • Hours must be evenly distributed throughout the month to support shift coverage and team consistency.

⛔ Note: Orientation hours do not count toward your 30- or 60-hour requirement. However, they do count toward your PVSA award for this calendar year, which is awarded in April 2026.

📝 Updated Application Process

All students must submit a Summer 2025 application to participate in Leader Crew or Support Crew. This process no longer includes evaluations.

• Students not selected for Leader Crew will automatically be place in Support Crew - no application needed.

• This is a year long commitment. However, placements may change based on program needs, position availability, or reassignment decisions.

📌 Please Note: All students will complete their Side Job Certification as a group during orientation. No additional sessions will be offered. Certification is required to lead side jobs on weekends.

📅 Mandatory Orientation Dates (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

All accepted students must attend one orientation based on their assigned role:

• Support Crew:

  • May 24th or May 31st

  • Students participating in Summer 2 only (July) may instead attend June 28th
    
    

• Leader Crew:

  • May 31st or June 1st

Attendance is mandatory. Students who miss orientation will not be eligible for participation this session.
