OUR COMPANY STORY
A foundation built from the core - our own experience
Going back as far 2009, in trying to buy a condo as a student who had limited finances but at the same time wanting to secure a valuable investment – the amount of data provided was so limited to make solid decisions. Questions such as knowing what a good comparable offer is, the sold history of a particular unit and how to make an informed judgement call felt like a daunting task. While relying on the resources at the time, there was no tool that could guide you and allow you to do your own research on what was going the be the biggest investment decision yet. As an engineering student working with numbers all the time, there was a sentiment of frustration in the amount of data and how little information one has access to, in order to base such a pivotal investment on. At the core of it all we had a big passion for the real estate industry and it always has been and is the driving force behind our ideas.
We started building HouseSigma because we wanted to make a difference and help buyers and sellers to make better choices. While starting to build our functionalities, we asked ourselves every day - what we are doing today that will help buyers and sellers know what direction they want to go in based on analytics from yesterday and trends of tomorrow. Every new function and tool that we built nurtured that idea. Our goal as a start-up company was to invest our time in building the best product available. Times were changing, we had a strong platform in place and over time became the poster child for getting the data out there for our users.

When, where and how much to buy for are the key questions we answer with our tools. Our mission is to help people to determine the value of real estate which is at the core of any promising investment. If you don’t understand the most important element which is the value of an asset, it can be difficult to navigate the smartest move for you. We take the challenges buyers and sellers face such as lack of data, volatility of the market and lack of previous transaction information and build analytical tools to better serve you. Our number one goal is to help users have a good understanding about the property they are looking to buy, its history and where to buy it. Timing is everything and we specialize in analyzing that – so you can have instant access to what is going on in the industry, what the market sentiment is and what your own community is pulsing at.

The following is the Value Proposition of the Brokerage and overview of Program that is presented to candidates so they can evaluate the fit for their business before requesting an Interview. We include for them case studies demonstrating how our program has changed business and may even lives.
HouseSigma receives many, inquiries in regards to joining our brokerage. We appreciate your time. Just as our platform was built on the premise of responsiveness and transparency we want to ensure you are receiving the information you need to be able to assess our program and evaluate as to whether there would be a fit for both sides moving forward.
Our team members choose the leads they want to work with. Each day they are in control of building their database... opportunity after opportunity. Out of the thousands of leads that are claimed each month by our team, when our realtors reach out to answer these inquiries we have an eye-opening 50% consumer response rate.
To ensure our HouseSigma consumer users are properly serviced and their inquiries responded to promptly, Representatives on the HouseSigma Team follow a strictly enforced Tiered Lead Claim Formula and they are expected to adhere to our Lead Follow Up Protocols, recording their efforts in the company customer communication management program. We use the Follow Up Boss CRM
Not only have these protocols led to proven success rates (a win for both the consumer and the agent) but they have also resulted in an increase in productivity in all areas by bringing structure to the days of our team members. We strive to not only to help our Reps close the leads we provide but to take advantage of our communications tools to build out their businesses and create multiple revenue streams.
Should you choose to, you will be welcome to load your own leads into the CRM and take advantage of the technology. Your personal leads are clearly categorized and would be yours to take with you if you were to depart. If they are already HouseSigma users they will be assigned to you as personal clients. Your clients will then see your smiling face when they use the HouseSigma app.
Partners in Performance.
We are a little different from traditional brokerages where in essence the agent is the client. In our world, the consumer is our client and we are working in partnership with our team to service our HouseSigma clients.
When our representatives successfully service a HouseSigma client resulting in a closed transaction the commission is split 50/50. When servicing a HouseSigma Listing HouseSigma covers the cost of marketing such as brochures, floor plans, video walkthroughs and in most instances staging.
The majority of our representatives are also simultaneously serving their own client base. Transactions for clients of their own are paid out on a 80/20 split to a cap of $20,000, after which you receive 100% with a $500 transaction fee.
Note: if you are doubtful you will reach $100,000 in personal business transactions you have the opportunity to increase the payout on personal business by 5% to a max of 95/5 with each firm written transaction on a HouseSigma client the previous month.
On personal and immediate family our reps are paid our at 100% with a $500 transaction fee.
Claiming Leads.
This lead claim video reenacts a consumer inquiry and subsequent realtor claim. Watching it will help you understand the lead flow. Inquiries from potential clients flow in real time and you have the opportunity to choose the leads you want to work with within minutes of them submitting an inquiry.
Experienced Reps joining HouseSigma may claim 1 Sale Lead a day from the geographic area of their choosing. Once their conversion ability has been demonstrated, Performing Reps may claim between 2 and 3 sale leads a day.
HouseSigma typically hires only experienced reps. From time to time we will accept a newly licenced rep who is a real stand out, likely no more than 6 a year. Brand New Reps need to close 3 lease leads before being able to claim sale leads.
Should you chose to make leasing part of your personal service offering, all reps may to claim up to 5 lease leads a day.
Monthly Account.
Due to the volume of inquiries and our commitment to build a team consisting of only productive professionals there is a refundable monthly “inactivity fee”. $200 per month is charged up front using direct debit. This is reconciled every six months (Jan/June) with a credit back to you for each HouseSigma client transaction (sale or lease) to a maximum of 6 in each reconciliation period.
The first thing you need to know is our team carries our brand commitment through the consumer experience end to end. We look to our reps to bring the platform experience to life on the street. To reinforce the positive association consumers have with our brand we are sticklers for visual brand consistency.

Our founders are data scientists, engineers by training. Independent of one an other they were frustrated that when looking to invest in the market they could not get access to the kind of information they needed to be comfortable to make what they would call a "Data Driven Decision.

Instead what they envisioned was a brokerage where each and every rep was handpicked to represent the kind of professionalism, transparency and dignity befitting the trust that consumers place in us.
