Our Story 

How we began: 

Blue View Barn was inspired by requests from visitors at our blueberry farm during our annual U-pick. We have been in the farming business since 1979, first as a plant nursery and then as a blueberry farm since 1999. We have had blueberry U-pick at our farm for many years and often people have expressed how much they enjoy the property and have asked us about hosting weddings. 

This was our inspiration! 

 Our Venue Adventure:

 Blue View Barn is family owned and operated on our farm as a way to share our beautiful property for weddings and receptions.   Our barn venue sits on 33 acres with tall pine trees and beautiful oak trees.  We are just off of Hwy 17,  five miles southeast of Winter Haven, home of Legoland.  We are located between Tampa and Orlando in the heart of central Florida. We are an oasis of country life on a true rural farm close to the city!

We offer a one or two day packages which allows you to create, rehearse, relax and enjoy the wedding you've always dreamed you could have.   Our Venue will accommodate up to 130 people (bridal party and guests).   We have a charming, open air Wedding Chapel for your ceremony.  We offer a beautiful air conditioned bridal suite and groom suite with plenty of room for the wedding party to get ready for the big day.

A list of recommended vendors is available to help in choosing your baker, photographer, caterer or DJ, if you need options.  Also, in our Gallery section, we have a list and pictures of some of our decor that you can use to create your unique wedding or special event.
