Town/Infrastructure planning would be helped by knowledge of the importance of upgrading our transport system such as HS2 and smart motorways. Politicians should also have knowledge of how local economies can be impacted on by developments such as transport, regeneration schemes and new jobs in the quaternary sector such as research and technology for example working at a science park.
