Interventions for consolidation of learning

A.S.C. - start planning pathways using A.E.T. aspirational intervention work.

Start initial consultation with Careers Advisor/parents looking at steps they need to take to get where they wish to be.

Set up pre-visits for parents to start independent travel training and settings awareness.

Start focus on independence/travel/finance/change and parental understanding of what they need to move on to further education/training.

Research into PIP and awareness of what is available to parents to enable independence - travel buddies etc.

Build links with institutions which welcome certain skills sets for their unique mindset.

Year 10

Support getting into college-help with CVs, applications and visits to settings etc

Work experience support-some in house work experience offered for those who need it

Bespoke sessions delivered around preparation for adulthood and working life

Year 11

Transition support to Post 16 education

Attending transitional meetings with new settings, supporting visits and sharing information with new key adults
