At Horsenden, we are proud to play an active role in supporting school improvement across Ealing.

Recently, we were awarded an Ealing Learning Partnership AI Pioneer Award in recognition of our innovative work exploring the use of artificial intelligence in education. As part of the award, staff completed a research project and shared their findings with colleagues from schools across the borough.

We were also delighted to fascilitate the Cluster 2 Inclusion Conference, bringing together Headteachers, SENCOs and Inclusion Leaders to share successful approaches to inclusion and ensuring every child feels a sense of belonging at school.

These opportunities reflect Horsenden's commitment to collaboration, innovation and excellence. We are proud that our staff are helping to shape educational practice beyond our own school and contributing to positive outcomes for children across Ealing.

We were delighted to welcome families to 2H's fantastic class sharing assembly today. The children proudly showcased their learning in Science, sharing their knowledge and understanding of the life cycles of a butterfly, frog and chick.

The class spoke confidently about the different stages of each life cycle, explaining how these animals grow and change over time. They impressed everyone with their excellent oracy skills, speaking clearly, enthusiastically and with great confidence. The children also entertained the audience with two fantastic songs, bringing so much energy, enthusiasm and joy to the stage. Their singing was full of expression and helped to make the assembly both engaging and memorable.

We are incredibly proud of every member of 2H for their hard work, confidence and commitment. They represented their class brilliantly and demonstrated just how much they have learned. Thank you to all the families who joined us to celebrate their achievements and support this special occasion.

Girls Cup Semi-Final Match Report

Horsenden Girls 0-0 North Ealing (Horsenden win 2-1 on penalties)

What a fantastic performance from the Horsenden girls as they booked their place in the Girls Cup Final with a dramatic 2-1 victory on penalties against North Ealing after a hard-fought 0-0 draw in normal time.

The girls battled tirelessly from the first whistle to the last, showing tremendous determination, resilience and teamwork throughout the match. Against a strong North Ealing side, Horsenden defended superbly and worked relentlessly for one another, refusing to give anything away.

With neither team able to find a breakthrough in normal time, the semi-final was decided by the tension of a penalty shootout. Seerat made two excellent saves in the shootout to give Horsenden the advantage and keep their dreams of reaching the final alive.

With nerves of steel, Layla and Fareeha both confidently converted their penalties to secure a memorable 2-1 shootout victory and spark celebrations among the players. Every single member of the squad played their part in this incredible achievement, demonstrating a fantastic attitude and never giving up.

Congratulations to the Horsenden girls on a well-deserved victory. Attention now turns to the final, where they will face Holy Family Primary as they look to complete an unforgettable cup run. Congratulations to the team! We are so proud of your achievement.

We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of Jiya and Heer, who represented our school at the London Schools Swimming Finals.

The event featured competitors from 27 schools across London, with our school being the only state school represented. In each event, only the top 12 swimmers qualified to compete in the finals.

Despite the strong competition, Jiya achieved an outstanding Top 5 finish London in the 25m Freestyle event, while Heer secured a fantastic Top 10 finish in London in the 25m Breaststroke event.

To qualify for the finals was an exceptional achievement, and to place among the very best swimmers in London is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and talent.

We are incredibly proud of both girls for representing our school so brilliantly and congratulate them on their remarkable success.
