Message from the Headteacher
I would like to warmly welcome all children and families back to the summer term. It was wonderful to see everyone returning on Monday with a bounce in their step and big smiles on their faces.
The summer term is always a busy and exciting one, with trips and visits, sports days, and end-of-year assessments and celebrations. These experiences are an important part of school life and give children the chance to grow in confidence and create lasting memories.
This term, we will be focusing on our HORSE Code value of being Sincere—being honest, genuine and meaning what we say. We will be encouraging children to show sincerity in their friendships, their learning and in how they take responsibility for their actions.
As always, good attendance remains vital, and we appreciate your continued support in ensuring children are in school every day and on time.
We are very much looking forward to a happy and successful term ahead.
See the bottom of the 'Updates' page for more details about upcoming diary events!
1D Class Sharing Assembly
This morning, our 1D delighted us with a wonderful assembly all about the four seasons. The children shared their learning about the changes we see and experience throughout the year, speaking clearly and with impressive confidence and articulation.
We were also treated to two fantastic songs, which brought smiles to everyone in the audience. I am sure many children—and adults—will find themselves singing the 'First Days of Summer' over the weekend!
A huge well done to Class 1D, we are all incredibly proud of you!
Welcome back to school!
