they / them
I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients, meaning that your voice and feedback are central to the process. Together, we’ll figure out what methods resonate most with you, so you feel supported in a way that aligns with your goals and values. I utilize an eclectic approach to help my clients navigate the challenges they face. I draw from various therapeutic models and techniques, tailoring my approach to suit each person’s unique needs and preferences. I believe that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach, and the goal is to create a space where you feel understood and empowered to make the changes you want in your life.
One of the methods I draw from is Internal Family Systems therapy, an evidence-based approach that focuses on connecting all the parts of you and healing wounds that may have been pushed away in order to survive trauma or other challenges in life. I also use elements of CBT, DBT, Experiential therapies involving play and creativity, as well as many others.
The most important aspect of a therapeutic relationship is being deeply listened to. My experiences as a Disabled Transgender Nonbinary Queer person have taught me to take things a little slower, use humor often, embrace whatever shows up in the moment, and believe in the good inside of each person. if this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out.
