Taking the first step towards reflection and better understanding oneself can be scary, but it is a worthy risk. My goal is to create an environment where growth can be achieved through self-exploration; that is often informed by our genetics, upbringing, socialized identities, and ancestral history. Part of self-work is holding space for our whole identities, and the ways our identities connect and intersect with larger systemic and social structures.
I welcome people from all walks of life; children, teens, and adults alike. As a trans and queer person who sought my own pre-transition, queer-affirming therapy at 19, I understand the importance of having a safe environment where one can explore their identities in a queer-informed and affirming space, and I hope to create that with my work. My approach is a collective of evidence-based practices, including solution-focused, systemic-strategic, and experiential therapy.
I am a second-year student in Pacific Lutheran University’s Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program. My undergraduate studies were in Sociology and Gender, Sexuality, and Race Studies.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, my partner, my cat, Luna Bug, going outside on adventures, watching my latest TV obsession, and making art.
