Parents & Scouts:

Please read the following Scouts BSA Hong Kong Troop 1 Events Policy

1)  Any Troop 1 BSA event requires two BSA registered adults (RA) to be present.   At least One female RA  must be there when females youths are participants in the scouting activity. 

2)  No one-on-one contact between a Scout and an adult who is not their parent/guardian. No exceptions!

3) Youth and adults tent separately in Scouts BSA, with youth sharing only with others of the same gender and within two years of age.  

4)  A Scout is allowed to work on individual requirements with their parent/guardian. This includes merit badge requirements, rank advancement requirements, Eagle projects, individual service projects (must be pre-approved by the Scoutmaster).

5)  Scouts are permitted to travel to and from Scouting events in Hong Kong with a single adult, as long as that adult is the parent/guardian of one of the Scouts present. 

6)  Scoutmaster conferences and Merit Badge Counselor meetings that involve an individual Scout require the Scout’s parent/guardian and/or another BSA registered adult to be present. 

7) Any electronic communication that involves an individual Scout requires the Scout’s parent/guardian and/or another BSA registered adult to be part of that communication. 

8) Please have your scout read the "Restricted items Youth Agreement". It mentions our policy on mobile phones.
