Registering as a NEW Merit Badge Counselor  (MBC)

If you are already a valid Registered Adult (RA) , you may skip Step 1, 2. 

1) Complete Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT) certificate - 

If you are a new volunteer please complete your SYT, which can be found on the MyScouting.org  here.  

Once complete, print or save to submit your SYT Certificate file.

2) Complete Adult Application for Merit Badge Counselor position - dedicated one for Merit Badge Counselor position, please use position code 42 for Merit Badge Counselor, available for download here.  

3) Complete Merit Badge Counselor Information Form

Once all these forms & certificate are completed, email ALL DOCUMENTS to: 

registrar@hongkongtroop1.org , committee_chair@hongkongtroop1.org, scoutmaster@hongkongtroop1.org with subject 

line : Merit Badge Counselor Application + Your Full Name. 

Our committee will forward all your documents directly to FEC Registrar and take care of all follow ups.
