8th Grade Students Attend Inspire to Hire Event at BSU
This Tuesday the 8th-grade class participated in Junior Achievement's "Inspire to Hire" career fair at Boise State University. There they had the opportunity to interact with and ask questions to several post-secondary education representatives and employers from different industries across the state.
Many of the organizers and vendors were truly impressed and complimentary of the high level of engagement and respect our students displayed. Comparing notes with the other teachers who helped chaperone the field trip, we concluded that this was indeed a day in which every student stepped it up.
One particular activity most of the students mentioned they enjoyed and got the most out of was the mock interview with several employers.
