Dear Children, Parents and Families,
I hope you have had a fabulous Christmas holidays.
Here is some useful reminders for Pangolin Class.
PE day is on Wednesday. In order to support and encourage independence children will be changing for PE in school. As such all children must have a full PE kit which can be kept in school. Please ensure that on Wednesday hair is tied back and earrings removed.
Please provide your child with a named water bottle for regular water breaks in class.
Please ensure that all children’s clothing is clearly labelled to avoid them becoming lost.
It will greatly support your children's development if they can read and practice their phonics as much as possible at home. There is an expectation that children read at least 3 times a week at home. Each time a child reads/ practices their phonics I will enter them into the weekly class raffle. Each child that reads a minimum of 3 times a week will also receive a whole school raffle ticket. Each time a child reads they will also contribute to the class reward system.
Homework will be set on Monday to be completed by the following Monday.
The children will receive government funded fruit at breaktime. If your child would prefer to bring in their healthy snack from home, please send it in. We are a nut free school, so no nuts please.
Please inform us if someone different is picking your child up at the end of the day. We will not allow children to leave with somebody different unless we have permission from you.
If you have any questions at any time, please catch me on the door in the mornings or after school, write a note in the children's communication diary or drop me an email to jthomson@holytrinityhalstead.com or lking@holytrinityhalstead.com it is helpful to include both teachers in your email for continuity.
