Welcome to Holy Rosary Child Development Center!
Holy Rosary Child Development Center (CDC) is currently in its 46th year of operation, serving children birth through twelve years of age. The CDC is licensed by the State of Michigan and has a capacity of 104 children. Participating in the federal Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), the CDC provides nutritious home-cooked meals, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Open year-round, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., the program offers preschool sessions, full day childcare, and latchkey services. The CDC provides a planned, balanced, Christian program based on sound child development principles. Infants through preschoolers grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically while exploring a wide variety of topics. The school-age children are involved in art projects, games, dramatics, hobbies, cooking, and sports with their peers, both before and after school. While striving to meet the developmental needs of children, a priority is to promote a positive self-image for every child. The aim is for children to feel good about themselves, to have confidence in their own abilities, to gain independence and to leave the program feeling better about themselves as people.
The CDC acts as a support group to families; a supplement, not a replacement. An open-door policy is maintained where parents are welcome to visit the center at any time.
