In order to get the most out of the wonderful learning opportunity that attending Nursery has to offer, we require all children in our Nursery to take up a full time 30 hour place - Monday to Friday 8.40am to 3.20pm.
Funding
All children aged three and four are entitled to a universal early education place for 15 hours a week.
Children in some families will also be entitled to an additional 15 hours of free childcare, otherwise known as the 30 Hours Childcare or Extended Entitlement.
To check eligibility for the Extended Entitlement (30 Hours Free Childcare) click the Childcare Choices logo below to take you to the funding website. By answering a few simple questions you can find out the funding that may be available for you.
How to Apply for Funding
Parents who believe they are eligible for the Extended Entitlement (30 Hours Free Childcare) must apply directly to Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) not the Local Authority or the Childcare Provider.
Applications can be made now for a September 2025 start.
Parents can apply online here on the Childcare Choices website where they will need to click on the 'Apply now' button on under the Age 3 & 4 section.
Or, click here to be taken directly to the government's application page.
Or call the Customer Interaction Centre on 0300 123 4097
In order to apply you will need the following to hand for you and (if relevant) your partner:
your National Insurance number
if you're self-employed, your Unique Taxpayer Reference. You are sent a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) when you first register for Self Assessment. Your UTR is on notices to file a tax return or payment reminders sent to you by HM Revenue and Customs. Look for a 10-digit number, sometimes with a letter 'K' on the end. It's sometimes just called 'tax reference'
the date you started, or are due to start work
details of any other government support you get
Parents will be asked by HMRC to confirm their details are up to date every 3 months or their code will expire.
Eligible families will receive an 11-digit code which they will need to share with the school by June 2025.
If you do not qualify for the Extended Entitlement you will be required to pay a fee for the additional 15 hours a week.
The fee is currently £1200.00 per term and fees are payable directly to the school via our bank account (once your child has started in September).
If you have any questions regarding funding or fees please email the School Office at office@holycrossfulham.co.uk
