What are some skills/competencies (NACE) that you developed during your internship?

I learned the methods and process of what it takes to train wild animals and

became efficient in the daily tasks that go on behind the scenes at an animal

facility.

How does this experience connect to your future career goals?

At the aquarium, I enjoyed always doing something different each day and

being a big part in the care of wild animals. I hope to continue educating the

public as well as taking part in the conservation efforts of different species in

my future career goals.

What advice would you give to other Holy Cross students?

The advice I would give to other Holy Cross students would be to take full

advantage of any internship opportunity. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and

any advice of any professional you may be working with and keep an open mind

about your experience.
