What are some skills/competencies (NACE) that you developed during your internship?

This experience allowed me to develop professionalism specific to the psychology

field. As this was my first experience in a clinical psychology setting, I learned the

importance of personal accountability and the fact that vulnerable populations are

dependent on the work being done.

How does this experience connect to your future career goals?

I have learned that I would enjoy working in a clinical field like the Day Hospital, and

that such a setting would also facilitate academic aspirations of mine.

What advice would you give to other Holy Cross students?

Be open-minded. It was nerve-wracking to start an experience like this, especially in

the current state of COVID-19. But even the chance to observe a workplace that you

might be interested in is extremely helpful for your own career path.
