What are some skills/competencies (NACE) that you developed during your internship?

• • This internship enhanced my writing and note taking skills while attending weekly committee hearings. I was tasked to complete daily tasks and projects for our Communications/Media team with my fellow interns which allowed me to advance my problem solving and leadership skills.

How does this experience connect to your future career goals?

• • This internship helped me gain insight into many new career choices that a political science degree can offer. By working for our federal government, I was able to witness many different job opportunities that are available in Washington, D.C.

What advice would you give to other Holy Cross students?

• • Take advantage of any internship opportunity you are afforded especially ones that are in-person so you are allowed to build a strong network and gain invaluable work experiences that will help you find the career path that is best for you.
