What are some skills/competencies (NACE) that you developed during your internship?

Dealing directly with clients, I learned that communication is incredibly vital in order to build trusting relationships.

That said, this internship allowed me the opportunity to strengthen both my oral and written communication skills.

Additionally, I gained valuable insight as to what the client-advisor relationship entails, which allowed me to

understand more about the professional attitude.

How does this experience connect to your future career goals?

As an economics major, I was interested in seeing if this would be a career path I would like to explore. I enjoyed

having a hands-on opportunity where I gained real world experience. I am excited to further the knowledge and skills

gained from this internship with future opportunities.

What advice would you give to other Holy Cross students?

In pursuing this internship, I was excited to learn more about financial planning. I approached this internship with an

open mind and had a great experience. I was fortunate enough to have a great mentor who created an engaging

environment. Overall, I am extremely happy to have pursued this internship and would recommend the experience to

other Holy Cross students that are interested in a great learning opportunity.
