What are some skills/competencies (NACE) that you developed

during your internship?

● I gained a lot of knowledge surrounding the functioning of entrepreneurship,

and what kinds of research has to go on behind the scenes every day to

complete tasks.

● I got to work on my communication skills, which are especially vital while

working with others over an online platform.

How does this experience connect to your future career goals?

● From this experience I can definitely see my future self working in marketing, or even as

an entrepreneur. Amy Polacko’s work is really inspiring, I could also see myself helping

women connect, create a network and grow together.

What advice would you give to other Holy Cross students?

● Definitely take advantage of the Crusader Internship Fund to help pursue

your internship goals. I would not have been able to experience the fulfilling

and insightful internship I had this summer without their support.

● Do not be afraid to pursue an internship outside your comfort zone. I did not

know much about marketing or branding before starting with Freedom

Warriors but gained a lot of valuable insight over the summer that I will be

able to apply to future work experience.
