2. Future Career Goals
While I do not intend to pursue a career in broadcasting and media, I know that the interpersonal skills that I gained
and the business atmosphere that I was engulfed in this summer will prove useful in any career that I may end up
choosing. While healthcare and chemistry may outwardly appear very different, the same skill set involving
communication, collaboration, and problem solving all will be invaluable in any future endeavor.
3. Advice for HC Students
Talk to anyone and everyone that will listen. You never know who you might meet during the internship and the
relationships that you build could end up being invaluable. There will be times when things look tough and you do not
think a solution is in sight, but the relationships and communication that you built with other interns and staff can
prove that no situation is insurmountable.
