1) What are some skills/competencies (NACE) that you developed during your internship?

During my internship I developed and honed multiple skills. While I had a lot of interest general knowledge of the real estate field, I had no professional experience. This internship gave me the opportunity to gain professional knowledge and skills that have made me confident in my ability to begin my career. I was able to hone my interpersonal skills and workplace professionalism as well as my verbal and written communication skills.

2) How does this experience connect to your future career goals?

This experience connected me with people in my desired career path who I plan to continue working with throughout this school year and post graduation.

3) What advice would you give to other Holy Cross students?

Prior to this experience I felt far less confident in my verbal and written correspondence between potential employers/other professionals. While this experience improved my skills, I realized that as a Holy Cross student I was able to trust my instincts and felt less of a need to second guess myself as my written skills were highly valued in the office.
