1) What are some skills/competencies (NACE) that you developed during your internship?
My time at Tod’s and Roger Vivier strengthened my research and analytical skills as I conducted competitive analysis summarizing activities and initiatives from other luxury brands in monthly reports for RV and Tod’s. I also learned more about marketing/sales/event planning in the fashion industry, more specifically in luxury fashion houses. Lastly, I build collaborative relationships with my supervisors through our different online platforms. I learned to adapt networking and teamwork in a digital context.
2) How does this experience connect to your future career goals?
Prior to my internship at Tod’s, the media and communications field was always appealing to my interests and future career goals. My experience at Tod’s and Roger Vivier gave me valuable insight in media and fashion, an industry where diligence and creativity go hand in hand. It is for this reason that in the future I am hoping to continue and develop a career in Fashion.
3) What advice would you give to other Holy Cross students?
Do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and gain experience in different career paths!
