Virginia Roach is a Vice President at CDM Smith with 34 years of experience addressing stormwater management, CSO and wastewater issues for municipal and private clients. She was a contributing author for the WEF 2012 Design of Urban Runoff Controls Manual of Practice, as well as the WEF 2014 Green Infrastructure Implementation manual. Ms. Roach holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, as well as a B.A. in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross.

Nora Chorover has more than 25 years of experience as an environmental lawyer for governmental and non-governmental entities. She investigates violations of state and federal clean air and water laws and litigates, if necessary, to enforce these laws. Nora graduated from NYU Law School and currently works for Attorney General Maura Healey in the Environmental Protection Division. Her work includes opposing EPA’s roll-back of federal Clean Water Act protections.

Terri Stiffler is a Project Manager at Tetra Tech, a leading engineering consulting firm – with more than 16,000 employees worldwide. At Tetra Tech she works for the International group on projects in Africa, Asia and other parts of the world. Her work is focused on the environmental and social aspects of building new infrastructure around the world. The projects she has worked on include: water and sanitation projects in Africa; building a road on one of the poorest islands in the Philippines; and a flood project to stop the serious flooding to villages along the mighty Brahmaputra River in northeast India. Terri’s background, prior to Tetra Tech, includes volunteering for 4 months in India on a water project for 10 poor villages, working as an environmental scientist for the non-profit Environmental Defense Fund in Washington DC, volunteering in Zimbabwe Africa for the Peace Corps, doing environmental safety & health (ESH) work for an industry and working as an electrical engineer. She holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering Technology from State University of NY, an MS in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts, and a second MS in Water and Waste Engineering from Loughborough University in the UK (an on-line course)
