Welcome to Hobsonville Point Secondary School

At Hobsonville Point Secondary School students will achieve academic and personal excellence. They do this with the support of highly qualified and experienced teachers who all believe that every child can learn, achieve and contribute strongly to their community.

We have a clear vision of a 21st century learning environment where learning has a purpose, is planned with students and is pursued through authentic and relevant contexts. It means that every child will develop a learning programme that is personalised to meet their individual needs and interests. State-of-the art facilities and technologies support and enhance learning. Learning opportunities include a wide range of sporting, arts and entrepreneurial activities.

The New Zealand Curriculum drives our teaching and learning and results in programmes that provide coverage of all learning areas and allow learners to gain the full range of NCEA qualifications. The result will be our young people graduating as critical thinkers and as empowered, life-long learners.

Strong partnerships are formed with families and the wider community through our innovative Learning Hub structure with every child supported and nurtured by their Learning Coach within a caring, small group.

Hobsonville Point Secondary School is an exciting place to learn and excel. We look forward to you joining us on this journey as we grow a new school for our community.

Regards

Maurie Abraham
