HNI is excited to be able to offer waterpolo to all our students.
All equipment will be supplied - just bring your togs!

Welcome to Water Polo 2026
We are going to enter 4 teams from HNI for T 2 & 3 2026.
Games are played on a Thursday evening between 4.00 - 7pm.
Competition commences Thursday 7th May.
Due to large anticipated numbers (based on contributing schools 2025 player numbers).
I am holding a trial towards the end of Term 1 to select these 4 teams. TBC
Due to this being a trial, all students that wish to play (Year 7 or Year 8) must attend.
Cost per player per term $70.00 (this cost will be invoiced to the Kindo account of those selected once teams are finalised).
We are also looking for parental support in managing each team.

SWIM FOR POLO SESSIONS
Location: Hawkes Bay Regional Aquatic Centre, 42 Percival Road, Hastings
We are thrilled to announce an exciting addition to our Swim for Polo program! We are now offering an afterschool session tailored specifically for our older athletes and those looking for more water polo-specific conditioning. Super excited about this one!
Session Schedule:
Tuesday Mornings – 6 am to 7 am (25m Learners Pool)
Thursday Mornings– 6 am to 7 am (25m Learners Pool)
Cost:
Option One: 1 Session per week – $80 per person total
Option Two: 2 Sessions per week – $130 per person total
*Please advise your preferred session if you choose to do 1 session per week (Tuesday AM, Tuesday PM, or Thursday AM).
Program Details: Registrations
The swim program will be conducted by Steve Knights and Keith Bone. Each session will include a minimum of 1-2k swimming. Please bring goggles and a drink bottle. Swimmers with long hair must wear a swimming cap. This program is designed to enhance fitness for water polo.
Limited Numbers – Please Register Early.
