Super 6

​​​​​​​The Inter-Intermediate Shield (Super 6) is a sporting competition between:

• Havelock North Intermediate

• Hastings Intermediate

• Heretaunga Intermediate

• Taradale Intermediate

• Napier Intermediate

• Tamatea Intermediate 

The coveted shield is competed for by our top sportspeople and teams throughout the school year.

These events have been running for 25 years, initially Super 8 with Wycliffe Int and St Pat’s included in the first few years. Most important objective of the Super 6 competition is to promote participation equally for Boys and Girls.  We aim to provide a girls’ competition and a boys’ competition for every sport on offer.
