2022 : National Tournament - HNI rep HB - 1-2- October in Christchurch
2021 : New Zealand Interschool Chess Finals (NATIONALS) - Oct 2-3 in Auckland (covid permitting) ... STAY SAFE and ENJOY YOUR GAMES HNI .
2020 : 5 teams represented HNI at the H B Regional Tournament (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th placings) and HNI went to New Zealand Interschool Chess Finals (NATIONALS) - Sept 26-27 2020 in Tauranga
2019 : HNI also represented Hawkes Bay at the New Zealand Interschool Chess Finals (NATIONALS) in Palmerston North
