Term 1: Split into 4 week 'give it a go' course ($69) + the remainder of term ($86.25)  

Term 2:   $150 + GST ($17.25 a session)

 Term 3:   $150 + GST 

Fees cover coaching from qualified instructors, competition entry, music, choreography, hair bow, use of Halo Cheer Athletics gym.

Fees are paid directly to Halo Cheer Athletics, with a 'Pay before you play' policy. 

• + ADDITIONAL COSTS: Travel & accommodation for competition in Hamilton - including sharing the expenses for the coaches, black sneakers*NOTE - ALL flyers must have proper cheer shoes - no exceptions. Black bike shorts

• + competition top  hire $10  (payable to HNI on KINDO in term 3)

Attendance

Each student is required to attend all practices as when one student is away it affects the whole team. In order to give the team the best advantage at competition we need to make sure that everyone is fully committed to the team and all trainings.

• Cheer is a fun team sport where acrobatics, gymnastics tumbles, jumps and dance are combined. 

• HNI's Cheer team will work towards the Cheerfactor  competition, September 20-21st in Hamilton.

We will begin the year with a 4 week give it a go course. This is so students have an opportunity to try cheer as for many, it is a new sport. 

After the 4 weeks, depending on numbers, we may have a trial to create  a competition team. This team will continue for the remainder of term 1, through to the end of term 3.

WHEN & WHERE:  

Friday  4.30 - 6.30pm at Halo Cheer Athletics - 76 Niven Street Onekawa

In previous years we have had cheer training split between our school gym and the cheer gym but this year we have decided to make the move to the gym full time, to reap the benefits of the fantastic facilities (sprung floor, tumbles track etc)

The four week trial period starts Friday 14th Feb.

Car Pooling
