Reporting COVID-19 Exposure

Close contact is defined as exposure of more than 15 minutes within 6 feet. While we do ask that you report all COVID-19 exposures of the student/staff member.

Next Steps:

  • There are no longer quarantine requirements for vaccinated or unvaccinated people. However, the exposed person must wear a well fitting mask for 10 days after the last exposure. If the positive person lives in the same household and is unable to isolate from the student/staff member, the Close Contact will continue to wear a mask 10 days after each exposure.

  • Get a Covid-19 antigen or PCR test 5 days after exposure. The day the symptoms started or the test was positive, which ever came first, is "Day 0".

  • Monitor for signs and symptoms of Covid-19 especially for 10 days after the last exposure.

  • The school nurse will contact you and help determine the next steps.
