About Me

Hi! I'm Lauren! I'm a CA girl, born and raised in the Napa Valley. I graduated from PUC with my AA and BA in Early Childhood Education. I worked in preschools for several years, then had the opportunity to work for a nonprofit in Guatemala for 10 months. It was one of my best experiences. Upon returning home, I attended Dominican University and received dual teaching credentials in Mild/Moderate Special Education and General Education. Six years ago I earned a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Touro University. I've been an elementary school teacher for 10 years and have experiences teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, PE K-8, Intervention & Resource Specialist K-8... among other things. I love teaching and seeing that light bulb go off in kids minds. I enjoy watching them grow and develop into their own.

Outside of the classroom, family is my EVERYTHING! My husband, Ryan and I have been married for 8 years. I have 4 stepkids all over the age of 18 and together we have 3 more. We have 5 year old twins (Chianti & Cade) and our sweet little girl, Capri, who is 2 years old. We've lived in Angwin for almost 6 years and we love anything and everything outdoors - nature, swimming, camping, traveling, exploring, boating, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and experiencing life together. I enjoy health and fitness and learning about and living a healthy lifestyle.
